It is not surprising that
the young and not so young of many nations have taken to the sport in
their hundreds of thousands. Many potential Army
recruits as well as those serving have already mastered its land based
counterpart -skateboarding. Although there is some conflict between the International
governing bodies of skiing and snowboard, the sport achieved Olympic status at
Nagano 98. It can not be long
before the AWSA has its first Olympic snowboarder. |
