Skeleton
is one of the most traditional forms of tobogganing with the rider
sliding head first. It had only been an Olympic sport twice, at St Moritz
in 1928 and 48, until its re-introduction at Salt Lake City in 2002,
where the RAF rider Alex Coomber won a bronze medal. The Army has
several members of the current Great Britain squad. |
