with 37 teams starting in the Biathlon Relay!

JONNIE WOODALL MEMORIAL SERVICE
The Memorial Service for Maj (Retd) Jonnie
Woodall MBE, late 4/7DG was held on Thursday 2nd July in St
Paul's Church, Knightsbridge.
Jonnie tragically died in an accident on
3rd April and, uniquely, was a Triple Olympian in two different
disciplines: Luge at Sapporo and Innsbruck in 1972 & 1976 and Bobsleigh
at Lake Placid in 1980. He also competed in the European Skeleton
Championships in 1983 and for many years was a member of the Army Cresta
Team. A former Eurosport commentator and past President of British
Skeleton he was the founder of cycling's famed Gran Fondo Cymru.

INFANTRY NORDIC SKIING
After a couple of years gap,
Infantry Nordic Skiing will return with a training camp and race week at
Les Saisies FRA, 30 Nov - 18 Dec 09. Les Saisies hosted the 1992 Olympic
Biathlon & Cross Country and from 1993 - 96 was also the venue for the
RAC and Army Championships. The Warning Order - including, at Para
35, a request for support staff and coaches, is below.
